Parkles, I was reading some hadith today that pertained to interesting practices the prophet Muhammad did and was curious on if you follow this specific one as a part of your cultural lifestyle:

Pretty much it states that if a fly were to land in your drink, you should fully submerge the fly into whatever you're drinking before taking the bug out, as, according to the prophet, one part of the fly carries a cure to an ailment that the other wing of the fly could be carrying (therefore ensuring you won't get ill from whatever contamination the fly could have brought to your drink). Seeing as this hadith involves flies, it reminded of your endeavor of collecting dead flies to eventually make that dead-fly necklace, so seeing as you're a Muslim who is probably decently acquainted with flies, I imagined you might be knowledgeable of this hadith and practice it. Do you or your family ever do this?
