i feel like ass some random dude yesterday followed me for a bit and then asked me stuff to get to know me which was quite sweet and then asked to take me out for dinner on the day and i was like no
but he convinced me to give him my snapchat and like he messaged me a couple hours later and i still havenā€™t responded and itā€™s been a day
i half swiped he said ā€œhi how are you?ā€
should i respond? am i being too mean?

oh basically on snapchat you have to swipe fully on like the message bar to open the message and so when u half swipe it you can see the message but they canā€™t see that you opened it
itā€™s just a way of checking messages without them knowing you read it bc if i read it i have to respond and idk what to say

Ah, alright, thank you for telling me. Well, he's given you a greeting. I'd say if you don't want to abandon relations with the guy, and you think he'd be a good friend, you could respond to his greeting with a similarly-casual "Good! How about you?" as he's clearly trying to initiate a conversation. Not sure what a better response would be than that.

Girls only parties are one of those things that confuse me like what do you do there ?
I'm not saying I don't expect you to do stuff there I do, but WHAT do you do ?
I imagine it must be pretty different than boys only parties, which I love
