Is democracy facing a decline?
Democracy has been criticised for many years, for example, Plato's philosophy which harshly criticises democracy, but nowadays, we can see that it simply does not work any more, the new generations are becoming more and more radical and anti-democratic, to this we must add the fact that, if a young person is not an ideological fanatic, they are apolitical and would not mind voting, they do not know the weight and importance of a vote.
There was once a survey on cognitive problems in adults and my country Chile was the one with the most problems, meaning that a large part of the population finds it difficult to do things simply because they don't know how, what I am getting at is that a large adult population is susceptible to being fooled by politicians and voting for the wrong thing. But this is when I ask you, do you think that democracy is in decline?
