Calling it now. The series is going to end with them escaping the circus but missing it because it gave them a sense of purpose trying to escape.

One must imagine Pomni happy.

(Actually on second thought, they'd prob go for a happy ending where it's a loop and they'd all put on the headset again)

unironically though you're probably right, i watched it just recently just to see if it hit different this time, i noticed all the jokes are really predictable (a good portion are reused gags from the pilot, or are otherwise obvious reddity jokes that can be called at least 30 seconds in advance) so it must follow that the ending must be predictable as well

I think this episode was better than episode 2. The animation was better and the ending didn't fall flat. There was a stupid "LOL warcrimes XD" joke but it went fast so it didn't make me groan too much.

I'm not sure how the new information about Kinger's wife will affect my theory for the ending. Maybe Kinger would go back to the circus just to see his wife again because it's the only way he'll ever see her again. Or maybe TADC will go for a message about having to move on and having them genuinely escape somehow.

I wonder what the Zooble and Caine therapy session will do for the overall story. The whole thing about the circus almost having a collapse because Caine realized his only purpose is to cause suffering is interesting. I wonder if it will be an "AI becomes human" plot point. I guess it's referencing "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" or something.

I liked the ending, it was touching. Kinger's wife is his light and hope, and Pomni could feel it too. Gotta have faith in something is a good moral methinks.

I agree, this episode was good, it makes episode 2 look like filler.
