I do not wish to discuss the matter any further.
It is so utterly lost of a cause, man. Think of it this way; the woman you are chasing is like fruit tied to a rope, and there's this freaky Tarzan-looking fella named "Pedophilia" who has a grasp of the rope and is on top of a tree. The more you chase it, the more the rope pulls it through the rest of the disgusting mud in the forest, where the fruit collects germs like those called "obesity" and "sexual immorality". The tree, which holds up the man named Pedophilia (in endorsement of the fruit's disgusting ways, and those of its puller), is named "Husband", and Husband is where the fruit is heading, rather than in your direction. The rope is now being pulled vertically, and so the fruit has almost reached the top of the tree (marriage). The fruit is so high up the tree, and is being pulled at such great length away, that you can no longer reach it, but why now reach, in the first place, for a fruit covered in mud and filth? The closest river where you could grab water to cleanse it is miles away, and to even splash the fruit with that water would be impossible from how far it now is above your head. There is, therefore, no point, when plentiful fruits, untainted, sit around the jungle elsewhere, so it is "fruitless" in a literal and figurative sense to continue chasing after the fruit.
