You know how when you spin around, you become off balance and start veering to the left or to the right when you walk? The same applies for up and down, too. To do this: start spinning, then lean your torso rightwards or leftwards so that it is parallel to the ground, and keep spinning like this. When you're done, you will have the sensation of veering upwards or downwards.
