Project Soygoy's Expeditions: The Schlog / Shlog needs better documentation or its own Wiki

What should I or we do? (Probably just me tbh)

Okay I'm closing the poll now o algo, I've made up my mind. Since only I really care about this, I'm gonna write my own book. I'll call it:

"Soygoy's Expeditions: soyjak.blog"

A personal account of the users who I have met on soyjak.blog and a documentation of them and their history, written by me and solely by me. Alongside the book will be videos. It'll be structured as follows: there will be revisional versions, so there'll be a first revision then a second revision, thirty first revision etc, because information will always update at some point. Users will be written about in like a plan from the most important to the least, e.g sparkles or steve gets written about first.

I'll ask users like Steve, privately, for interview questions for my book. I'm really interested in Steve, I wanna know more about his ED adventures. If people deny my request for an interview, I'll just write without one and say "they refused to comment"

The book will be public and published, a plan will be outlined, users who do not have chapters yet will not have chapters, but will get chapters in additional revisions. You'll be able to download it and read in PDF format which will have a table of contents. If it gets too large, I'll make it a zip o algo, I'll also make sure that the images use webp o algo so that they're small in filesize.

If you need to use Soygoy's Expeditions as a source for a wiki page, you are free to do so.

An amendment:

Some users have expressed concern that they don't want to be written about in my SNCA Memoir. These concerns will be disregarded. When you signed up to soyjak.blog, you created a persona or a character that could be discussed, all of your messages have been archived. I am allowed, it is my right to be allowed to do so, but I am allowed to go back and read your old messages and write about them. You can't stop me and if you don't like me doing that, you're entitled to get angry and leak your clitty at me. If you're angry about me for writing about you in some book, you should be angry at everyone who mentions your name or interacts with you here on soyjak.blog. It's a double-standard in my opinion to get angry over something like this.

In fact all I'd have to do to upset people is go to archive.is and just input the url and oh noes you've been archived ohmygod
This however does not apply to the following: actual personal information, like a real first name, address, pictures of your face, should not or will not be included. This is because people whom I respect, like Steve, had their face leaked without their consent and while it is schlog history, it's not something that I believe to be morally right to put out there. If you want to put it out there though you absolutely can when I ask you for an interview o algo.

This is something that I care about a lot, to the poitn where personal requests to not be documented is something I'm going to ignore, and if you get angry over me simply writing about you, that's just even funnier. There is not a single thing that anyone can do to stop me from writing about you, this is a public website. However, you are entitled to a certain level of privacy at the very least, when I write about you, I will write about the character you have created here on the website and not attach it to your real life person.

I believe people have caused a ruckus because they wanted to intervene with a project yet again, it happens all the time
  • Soygoy, you can't learn russian.
  • Soygoy, you can't make this FPE game.
  • Soygoy, you can't write about me. I'm a stupid retard who made a public account on a blogging forum site that lets you guest post

If you are worried:

You'll need to fit a criteria to have a page written about you
  • Be banned
  • 1000 or 500 posts
  • Contribute to the site in some way
If you do not meet any of these criteria you will not have a page written about you, but maybe a footnote, e.g "List of every registered user before 18 October 2024" or "x is a user who posts about y" and that's it.

I may focus on banned members first, like terrycrews, acro and sparkles and give people who don't want to be written about some time to decide what to do with their public history o algo.
When I write about you, I will let you know! Unless you're banned in whichcase, I'll do so anyways.
I wanna be written! I've actually been banned before and i contrinuted by getting @ILoveCoals renamed AND banned!

The best time to start archiving was 30 weeks ago, and the second best time is now. Waiting only creates more work for you, so you best start immediately. The endless nature of archival means this will be a long-term project, and it will only cease once you lose interest.

Never assume that someone else is already archiving or will archive for you. As with many things in life, if you want something to occur, then you must be the change you want to see. No one else will hold the same interests or level of passion as you do.
On the topic of wikis, I wish the Soysylum got more attention. It never took off because it focused exclusively on fiction versus Soyjak Wiki focusing on both Soyjaks (fiction) and documenting their use on the Internet (non-fiction), and fiction is inherently more difficult to write than documenting non-fiction. Soysylum was also never really advertised, so no one ever knew about it even after it was placed on the top bar alongside the Dailyjak (still active).

The main Soysylum admin there seems to have left the Soysphere, but I believe the pages there should still be preserved. Perhaps cloning the pages onto Soyjak Wiki will bring more attention to the Mental Asylum stories and fulfill the goals that the Soysylum site sought out to achieve.

I would clone pages if I had time, but personal responsibilities are of utmost importance. Perhaps, someone else reading this, with more time than me, might be interested in preserving the Soysylum.
You seem like you're an archiver, so I get it, you're right. But I have been archiving, just not everything, only the stuff I found to be the most interesting, for everyone else, their messages still remain, their history is at an arms reach, and just to let you all know, every thread I've ever been in has been auto archived due to email notifications. But I agree, if I won't do it, nobody will, which is why I'm inclined to create Soygoy's Expeditions, it's my archive, my memoir.

Documenting users and their behaviours sounds like a great idea! Make sure to include their location, age, gender and other important stuff( a list of any illegal stuff they commited, political views..) We at the bureau appreciate your hard work!
