I used to watch heckin Disney movies back in China and they had English and Chinese subtitles and I just connected the meaning of the words.

I consider myself pretty skilled at translating and learning languages though so I guess that's also part of how I managed to pick up English.

I also used to learn un petit francais en highschool o algo or however le niggeur c'est decapitated.
