Nah nate is a mix between yotsuba and the skin of 14NateHiggers88, a 'crafts player who's now gone. And the shirt is not the opposite, the outer red band is the same colour, but the inner band is the colour of soot, because well, soot.

Honestly I'm up for trying different things.
I'll try sticking with the single leaf idea

His hair is yellow cus its aryan, the original soycraft guy(Soot btw) had a black shirt with a swastika and blonde hair.
Yeah we should focus on finding a design that works and is memorable, which will be difficult and tedious but likely will be worth it

I’m the only one who said I like the blue and I’d be okay with it being changed if there is a good reason for it. But if we’re just arbitrary choosing colors I’d like it to be blue

I'm not trying to stop you. Change the shade. Change the style. Change the whole overall design if you must. Remember that this was the first dolljak.

The design is not set in stone and whether you want to make small changes or redesign it, it's still on the table.

I wouldn't mind this being our nate. Its unique and probably won't be used to make porn like nate is. Its more absurdist. Also, nate isn't a variant, it's just a descriptor. Feel free to make your own shlog original variant albeit.
