I'm sorry but they do. Everybody that reads his books think they become 600% smarter because of it. It kinda looks like this 'toss.

Not saying you're wrong at all (because a lot of people who read are pretentious) but I remember being able to shitpost and talk to people online more articulately for a bit after reading a book for an hour in school sometimes

George Orwell seems so shit tbh. I hate how most people that read his books think they're heckin smart and transcended into a whole new plane of intellect and metaphysical erudition
Trvthnvke from SmallAnus again

Most people really lilke to think they are really smart when they read George Orwell
His books are good but most people read like 50 pages and let the books rot in their school backpacks
and tell everyone how "smart" they are

I read through the entirety of Animal Farm like 6 times and every subsequent time I just kept laughing more and more because I started figuring out what some of the jokes meant

I like animal farm because it's not too long. You can finish it in about 2 hours

add crime and punishment
that's the only book I've read since the middle school

some people are just too retarded to read and understand his work
so they just listen to some leftie commie and copy xis/xer thoughts about the books
Each side of the political (autistic) spectrum misinterprets his works in one way or another.
Commies will say 1984 is anti-totalitarianism.
Capitalists will say 1984 is anti-communism.

It's worse because I hate these 2 but I know I'll probably have to face off 13 people at once in an argument if I debate against Capitalism and Communism at the same time

its the fate of our world
most people stopped reading books (or it seems too boring for them)
so people just copy thought leaders thoughts like a sheep
