another reason is the anime, i really fucking hate anime, i hate the art style, i hate the voices those annoying female uwu waifu characters have that is just ear cancer, the cringey fanbase and how the majority of them are okay with pedophilia in their community and yes i mean loli and shota. And 4chan is full of degenerate weebs posting their coomer tranime fantasies all over boards that arent just about anime like /v/. That and the fact that most of the threads especially on /pol/ are ragebait meant to illicit a response from butthurt incels.

Biggest thing I can think of is that it's humorless and shit for discussion.
I like coming to the 'arty and shlog for funny shit and nothing funny ever happens on 4cuck, /b/ has been filled to the brim with fetish porn and political bait for forever at this point.
also when you want to discuss shit related to media there's almost always threads with thread titles that just repeat the same phrases over and over again or somehow inserts a sexually charged photograph of a woman. Doesn't matter if it's /mu/ or /int/ or /pol/ or whichever fucking board.

tbh I liked reading 2014-2022 4chan (mostly /int/ and later /qa/, /sp/ or /pol/) and it looked like there was more people literally like me, than the famous masters of irony who raided other websites. I was a mental redditor before I even discovered it.

I loved 2016-2020 4chan. 2018 Musical.ly, and later Tiktok Ricardo trolling threads on /gif/ were unironic peak, and /pol/ was entertaining and way more usable than it is nowadays.

Idk, I unronically treated /pol/ around 2021-2022 as some news website, but it was too addicting and I was emotionally exhausted after using it. Too many schizos saying that something is happening.
