Britain managing to keep control of the Raj was a blessing in disguise, they probably would've lost it if they lost the war in Europe, and I don't know how Hitler would've handled them but it seemed like they were forming an unorthodox alliance

Unclean water here is much easier to deal with, most poor people have filters (which are really cheap as well) applied to their taps for cleanliness. Every one of the asian colonial holdings japan invaded during WW2 had to fight very bloody wars immediately after the war's end. Maybe it would've been better if it had fell to them

MAAAAARGE Our power grid had some hitches here and there but our electrical system has been massively improved since then, nationwide power outages are very rare and they're not documented because of the fact that they last for such a little amount of time. Hydro is a retarded way of producing electricity but in a country like ours filled with lakes it's the most obvious and easy path. The quality of the air is only questionable when you're near industrial sectors and favelas (because they're not infested with trees like formal neighborhoods).

I still question why you would want to live there when you don't have a BBC. There's nowhere to live other than next to industrial sectors and favelas.
