Discussion Opinions on Tiktok possibly being banned in the US?

The rock of the blog.
I think it would be a good thing for everyone, considering the slop people watch on there mindlessly scrolling through their phones like a zombie. It would be a great change for people to put down their phones for once.

Banning tiktok won’t get people off their phones. People are addicted to it and will look for anything to get that fix. There’s already replacements in Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts that people could easily go to if tiktok is banned. In fact, IG Reels has been stealing some of the viewerbase away from tiktok lately. Social media is like pandora’s box. Once it’s been opened, and people have used it, there’s no going back to how it used to be.

The US government only wants to ban it for national security reasons, and even then it's all a bunch of bullshit because US platforms like Facebook and YouTube do the same things that TikTok does (except for the CIA niggers instead of the CCP). They don't give two fucks about the well-being of American children and how technology can and will impact their development. Honestly I'm glad that I likely won't have to walk past foids doing dances at school anymore, but this isn't really some act of God.

Even more than that, those companies still sell your data to China. Tiktok is only considering being banned because Facebook has done heavy lobbying in order to make American lawmakers think that it's a national security threat. People have posed as members of the CCP and data harvesting companies have been more than happy to hand over sensitive data of US army personnel for literal pennies. It's all smoke and mirrors.

It's crazy how the US just seems to be getting raped by the Chinese every week now. Honest question: when was the last time someone from the US got caught leaking sensitive Chinese info? The military here in muttland is full of retarded mulattos and the somewhat intelligent people working for 3 letter agencies seem to be too busy exploiting their own citizens.

tiktok decided to ban my country and the technical literacy of 12 year old kids has increased dramatically, they all learned how to create foreign accounts and use vpn

It would be a net positive, although people constantly filling the horizon of their minds with hyperstimulating gunk is more of a symptom than the problem itself.

I'd be glad, but I doubt it will ever happen since our government is infiltrated and if the app were to be banned it wouldn't benefit the foreigners from across the sea who run this whole tyranny. I don't want foreigners here, and I don't want their influence, espionage attempts, and deceitful deracination, either, so I'd be all for such a ban if it ever were a possibility.

tiktok is absolutely not getting banned, and if it is it will come back the next week or so. this is just drama to paint china as a dangerous enemy to the us to justify more trillions in defense spending when in fact both countries are controlled by the same cryptokikes. same thing as the cold war
