Project OPERATION: SOYJAK FREEDOM

/off/ used to be open, but then they had to lock it and now it just purely serves as a wall of shame that jannies move threads to

For anyone who is interested in trying to terraform a board,

Reply to this post with the board of interest so we can start coordinating and seeing how wants to work with who... I personally would like to start working on /sci/ but I'll probably move to help whichever board gets the most interest. The most important thing is to get this operation moving.

We should thoroughly target /mtv/. Everyone's watched or played something. It has a very low barrier for entry, and I already see plenty of quality, well-written posts.
Like the quote below said:
... Maybe if you had like 100 people agree to post at least once a day I can see it working.
Although it doesn't require 100 people. If 5 posters agreed to make at least 5 posts a day, that already increases average PPH by 25%, not accounting for natural growth.
If 10 posters make 10 posts a day, we double the activity. These posts can be as effortless as a "bump" to a thread on page 40.

Board Activity Source: https://marge.moe/

This is my plan: Engage with interesting threads, make about 5 posts every hour or so, and create interesting threads if we have anything in mind. If we stay committed to this project, we could spark interest and natural growth.
Personal Goals
Increase /mtv/'s average PPD to 200, or a 100% growth, and spark natural growth. Make the board interesting for ADHDteens.

(Optional) Shill /mtv/ on the 'cuck.

OPERATION SOYJAK FREEDOM

Goal: End Sharty stagnation by improving the altboards

How: WE get the ball rolling by improving their post quality and activity.

Where: Altboards with utility (/sci/, /x/, /biz/, /pol/, etc...)

Run Down

Operations like this had been tried before and have almost always failed for one reason or another. While this operation will not be easy, it is necessary to save the sharty. Ever since the kuz era we have been getting capped at about 20k posts a day. This is probably because /soy/ (which makes up 95% of the posts) is unable to create more than 20k posts a day without a large outside force breaking this cap. This means in order for the site to grow, we need to try to increase to post counts of the altboards. In particular boards which can serve certain roles and build specific communities. All it would take is about ~10 active posters a day to start a board's post count to snowball. Look at /pol/, it's the same 5-10ish posts and it is already surpassing /soy/'s pph on rare occasions. On top of that, everyone here can probably admit to jakking fatigue. It would be nice to be a 'teen on a different board. Even if you are only pro /soy/, by improving the altboards, you empower /soy/.

Plan

Because each board could be very unique and cover a wide range of topics, we can't approach each board the same. I will try to lay out as many plans as possible that I think can be used to most effectively kick start inactive boards.

/sci/

All of the soience memes aside, /sci/ could become a genuinely good board to start a serious board. Many 'teens are in high school, college, or just have an interesting in STEM topics. Like any inactive board, the issue is there is no one to post with about side topics because no one uses it. Even if it's just posting at people and not a conversation, people enjoy knowing they are being listened too with serious topics. There is also plenty of shitposting potential with this board.

To kick start this board, we need better threads that at least were active enough to start conversations that people can slowly add to after a conversation the first day or so... I would suggest that any 'teens who want an active /sci/ board or just want to talk about STEM shit start a group conversation here. Then, every day you take turns posting one well thought out thread in which you each make at least 1 serious post in. While people might want to cry that its forced or offsite, the shlog is cannon to the 'arty and it'll just stay dead if we do nothing. If we do succeed at kick starting /sci/ we can dissolve this plan. Important notes about /sci/ is that we need to encourage a more serious atmosphere. Limited duels, quotes, and shitposts. People would come to /sci/ because they are tired of /soy/'s duels, quotes, and shitposts. If we can establish that sort of board culture, jannies will sooner or later enforce anti derailing culture.

/biz/

About the same as /sci/, but really, we need to be shilling to the 'cuck's /biz/ refugees. It's about as close to another clean stable as we can get and it would be an easy way to add another active board to the site. Yes, most people have already marked /biz/ off as failing to capture the 'cuck's refugees, but they still need a place to go and that could still be here. It helps that /biz/ could be completely isolated from the rest of the site as they just bring their own culture with them.

/x/

About the same as /sci/, although you can't fall back on the crutch of being based in reality. A thread on a certain type of medicine has a built-in appeal in following but not one cares about you shitty cryptid OC if its not interesting and well written. Even if you are just posting to yourself, dump orange text stories (green text is for the cuck). Maybe we could make an orangetext story time youtube channel to shill it. Despite what cuck /x/coomers say, those are what brought the cuck's /x/ to its peak. Also again, it's also a shitpost heavy board so no need to be stuffy like with /sci/. However, quoting/dueling should be avoided because /x/ threads are easily derailed and ruined.

/raid/

/raid/ is mostly fine and will grow as the 'arty grows. Maybe just try to shift actual raids to /raid/ rather than have them on /soy/. Like the territorial.io and operation threads are a good example. On a board thats a bit slower, we wouldn't need to necrobump them to keep them from sliding.

/incel/, /g/, /health/

I had mixed feelings on this boards and we probably shouldn't readd them now, but they could have also been good boards to try and start an active userbase on. If this is successful, we should try to push for their return.

Memes

We can all agree that jakking is the shit, but we should consider trying to create NAS memes. Imageboards like 4cuck derived a large part of their cultural influence from the memes it spawned and pioneered. Beyond the prestige of being the home of famous memes, memes can also act as center pieces to a board's culture. They can also be reason enough for a board to exist (ex: /soy/). You could start the next SCP or make the troll face of the 2020s. You just need to try and the altboards are probably the best place to do this.

The site would be saved by deleting pol, banning seriousfags and banning doxxing
