This is a bandaid fix imo, it shouldn't let you enter values that high in the first place.
I doubt I can fix that from the admin panel though so this willl have to do.

It's all we can do for now, but in the future, something more advanced will need to be considered for both issues. Irregular proportions need to be disallowed

Click/press your profile at the top bar, then go to privacy, you'll see a menu where you can determine what people can do on your profile. I set mine so only those choose by me can post

I edited the bb_code_tag_attach template to include a max-width and max-height.

Max-width for videos should probably by 500px due to most vids being widescreen

300px by 300px is a 1:1 aspect ratio, so limit the aspect ratio to 16:9 or something, but a small 16:9 resolution, ofcourse.
Like 640 by 360 maybe.

This video is 999,999 pixels wide by 999,999 tall. To fix it is relatively easy:
Add max-height: 300px; and max-width: 300px; to videos in the css file. you can do this as follows:
