Went to key west yesterday, it was alright, Truman’s winter house was interesting, , very nice place, they used to do a loud shirt contest in his winter home, all the cabinet would bring their ugliest, loudest shirt to see who would win, the most interest part doe was Fort Zachary Taylor, a fort created for the sole purpose of driving out pirates, this trip also made me reconsider my hatred towards fish, I used to hate it but I think now it may just be that it’s difficult to perfect as opposed to beef or chicken

I went to Okeechobee today, was pretty enjoyable, we caught some trout, we saw too many scholars fishing in dirty canals on the way albeit. On the way to Okeechobee we found this ranch that was selling fresh produce called Güines Ranch, Güines is a small little settlement in western Cuba (in the whitest part of Cuba nowadays) we got cheese raw milk and natural eggs and some chorizo, the area became very Cuban after a bunch of plantation owners lost their land due to Castro and fled to Florida, eventually many of them got jobs in the form of managing the acres of sugarcane fields present near the lake of Okeechobee

I did a rhinoplasty yesterday because I have a deviated septum, they put nose splints inside of my nostrils, my nose looks terrible right now though, like a goblins nose, because of the swelling, I hope my nose looks about the same once swelling ends, the nose being swelled kind of makes me worried it changed drastically but I’m sure i am just overreacting, anyways I feel really heavy, in the sense that moving every part of my body takes extra effort now for some reason, must be the remaining anesthesia in my body

Can’t wear glasses for 4 weeks but I’ve got a way to solve that problem, getting a contraption for the glasses, where it is head by the forehead instead of the nose, I also can’t put direct sunlight on the nose for 3 months, which means I’ll need some kind of nose covering for that time
