get a jobI’m bored as fuck
I'd be willing to give us all a minecraft server if all of you intend on using it with a common goal in mind, e.g creating a town with train stations and restaraunts and we can include things like an economy and I can be King Soygoy and dish out ownership of land and people can practice capitalism or if they want, make their own country and practice communism, etc. We could even play on a version of the game like BTA, or just a custom 1.8.9 server with plugins or something like that.
But if nobody is up for that then maybe no. I like the idea of a MC server as long as we all have goals to work towards slowly and once they're all completed we can just make new goals, new building projects, etc. That's the only way you can make Minecraft fun, is if a community comes together to make a world, make rollarcoasters, make theme parks and make an actual inhabitable livable world with jails and town halls and stuff like that.
Like if you stole from someone, King Soygoy wouldn't ban you, he would investigate and then throw you into an actual ingame jail and certain players would have to take turns guarding the inmates to make sure they don't escape or something like that. That's the only way that Minecraft can be fun in my opinion, is if people are okay with doing a little bit of roleplay, but also working on community projects. I can imagine murder being illegal, but something being illegal /=/ against the rules, we can even hold court sessions for certain things or exile people we don't like to different parts of the map to task them with creating their own countries o algo
The issue with that is that I genuinely don't think anyone is going to be willing enough to do something like that. I like hosting servers but they all have their own issues
Terraria is too objective focused, once we beat it, it's over.
CS:Source is genuinely too boring and gets repetitive and old real fast and lacks the creativity that Terraria has, via choosing your class and building bases.
A minecraft server could be the server hosting we need to have fun, but only if players actually want to do it and not just come in, toggle on their hacked client and start griefing everything or just making shitty wooden houses and not bothering to actually collectively mine and make massive storage areas or shops for building blocks and items so players can easily create the builds they want to make, etc.
