I am going to be honest and say that I have always felt this way towards the sharty. I felt it was pretty pointless from its inception.
'jaks are supposed to mock someone and they're at their best when they make the people being mocked mad. You create a space only comprised of these people and it's just random nerds talking in buzzwords.
The best place to post 'jaks in has always been 4chan.

Nerds talking in buzzwords is entirely sustainable, not popular but sustainable, as seen in obscure nerd circles. People can build communities around legos and vehicles and fire alarms, identity can come out of anything and with it comes the activities. The Booru and Sharty continue to work hand in hand, where else is a better playground to use the ‘jaks you saved? To become inspired for new ‘jaks? As long as people can say nigger and draw cartoon men with glasses we’ll be fine. The oldfag is dead, we have killed him, we are the masters of our own identity. Soyjaks will continue to be applicable to increasingly many contexts, so I have no doubt that we will continue on.

I'm always open to feedback and suggestions. I prefer not to fuck with things as much as possible since janny always make coal decisions and sites should be driven by the people using the site the most.

im going to agree with you on the fact that the sites should always represent the people using them, so that should be valued first and foremost in my eyes. However /soy/ is pretty much just full of hand-me-downs from twitter memes and ectra without it being filtered. its tough because its always going to be a bargin between having control over the site and potentially curbing our accessibility to bring new stuff in and keeping the culture fresh or having an influx of new things coming in and the culture being removed and being sucked into the mainstream. We are a subculture, between 4cuck. I hate to be a demoralize fag but i think we're just too close to the mainstream and the culture requires us to be a subculture to avoid being sucked in. so i think your call with having support and hope for soyblog the most, in hopes that it stays fresh, is the best one, though i miss old soykulture most of all.
