Tbh I wouldn't play 2d sonic, but I enjoyed some 3d sonic on ps2 where I could play with 3 main characters. The scenery looked like it was some subtropical islands around Taiwan.

Why is sonic so popular among autistic drawGODs? Especially when they are kids or early teenagers. Later they switch to anime girls.

The characters are all so shockingly easy to draw yet in contrast so fucking hard to master, anyone with half a brain can draw a Sonic whether good or bad in a solid minute flat.
The character designs are also very potent to people with autism, I've heard some people argue it's to do with readability and others argue that it's to do with the proportions.
