1400 years ago the average lifespan was 30 years of age. When you have a lower lifespan, people are going to marry and mature earlier. Even if you look at this from a logical perspective, we have an average lifespan of 70 in modern times, and many people marry at 18, does it not make sense if the lifespan is half , people would marry around 9. A girl at 9 back then is not going to be the same level of maturity as a girl at 9 today. Islam always looks at both mental and physical maturity for marriage. Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) says:

[(7:54) Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds.]

Firstly, the verse speaks of the creation of the heavens and the earth in six days:
Reading the reviews made by Muslim scholars on the creation of the heavens and the earth in six days, we will deduct that only Allah knows the accuracy of these periods. Secondly the ESTABLISHMENT of His Majesty (سبحانه وتعالى) on the throne:

That Allah Almighty (سبحانه وتعالى) Rose (Istawa) over His Throne because He {(He is the) Doer of whatsoever He wills} [85:16], and not because He is in need of the Throne, for Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) is independent from the Throne and other than the Throne.

Imam Malik said in his famous statement, answering someone who asked him “How did He (Allah) Istawa on His Throne?”:

«The “Istiwa” is not unknown, the how-ness is not comprehensible, asking about it is an innovation, and believing in it is compulsory.»

Thirdly the proceeding of the night and day:
And this is the theme of the asked question, Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) speaks of succession of facts, the night over the day and the day over the night. And this action cannot be achieved only if the earth is round which is the case [it is a formal evidence to contradicting those who say that the Quran says that the earth is flat]

A lot of these questions could be answered by not looking at it strictly in a modern scientific way, but instead you have to realize that God is an omnipotent being, He has never had offspring, nor was He born, He is the creator of everything and He can do anything in his will if He wishes to.
