The world is full of mediocre unremarkable artists, musicians, sculptors, etc.
How can you even hope to make something that's worth more than a couple seconds of people's attention if you aren't a gifted individual?
It's even worse now that AI can generate pieces that absolutely mog unremarkable artists effortlessly.

Chris Chan is a good example of someone who was a lil gemmy, put down a deep dark rabbit hole and a life of enablement and a lack of improvement.
Also a lack of creativity, well, kind of but not really, he's definitely creative, but he puts all his eggs in the wrong basket. Blud could be learning an actual skill or something but he just can't improve his really bad art for some reason. Liquid Chris was better imo.

Because he didn't know any of the fundamentals. Just doing something doesn't make you better at it if you don't know the basics. This nigger was just drawing his shitty comics the same way for a decade and he wasn't trying to improve either
its embarassing even, he drew porn, i think he even traced porn.
poor megan.

i actually tried picking up drawing 2-3 years ago, and it was fucking miserable. Then, in my neet stage, i decided to learn playing chess blindfolded (just for lulz). It took some time, but it really improved my visualization skills. I then decided to start drawing again, and now i'm actually enjoying the process. I believe this is what helped me.
Bro going on sidequests for the main plot 😭
