I’ve heard that gen a kids can barely even read. They just too used to doing everything on an iPad and having constantly stimulationGen Z is already a clusterfuck. Alpha is hard to predict but I think it'll be even worse.
Right, they just watch YouTube videos with flashy colors instead of actual educational stuff. I think computers can be beneficial for learning (I was born in the mid 2000s and my family desktop helped me learn to read) but mobile devices are too easy to use almost.I’ve heard that gen a kids can barely even read. I remember when I was a kid/early teenager I watched mostly educational videos on YouTube. Kids today don’t even know how to use a computer which is insane considering that they’re online so much. They look at you like some kind of computer god if you know what a BIOS or command prompt is.Right, they just watch YouTube videos with flashy colors instead of actual educational stuff. TRVKE. I wouldn't consider myself completely computer literate (don't know any programming languages except very basic HTML/CSS & Python) but holy shit they've dumbed things down so much. I remember having to extract and move ZIP files on my shitty Android tablet as a kid (for minecraft worlds) and while that wasn'f a very complicated thing to do it would blow the minds of most zoomers now. Legit heard a (17yo btw, pretty sad) girl in my class ask if the monitor was the actual computer and the teacher had to correct her.I remember when I was a kid/early teenager I watched mostly educational videos on YouTube. Yeah, me and my mom went to help my cousin with his kid 3 months ago and not only was the place messy as hell, but his daughter was an Ipad kid.Right, they just watch YouTube videos with flashy colors instead of actual educational stuff.
