Biggest problem I have with IRC is that it normally doesn't give you messages sent when offline, so unless you stay connected 24/7 you usually will just have to not see everything, and expect your replies to be lost if a conversation is not very active at that moment in most cases. Although, I've seen a few workarounds done before so if those work well, you could still use that at the very least.

Nvm then, we're so back and IRC shall be used to ASCEND from normies. Now to begin using IRC more than I currently do, luckily I have a few servers already available that I know of which are good (mostly CozyNet, MethCAT, etc).
