If God is good then why do bad things happen though?

I don’t recall anything like that in the Bible but I’m a little rusty on my Bible lore.
I don't know if this is what the bible actually says but it is how most theologians describe heaven. "ecstatic union" or "mystical union" not dissimilar to the Vishishtadvaita Hindu idea of Vaikuntha. Read how the Catholic Church describes it:

>This perfect life with the Most Holy Trinity - this communion of life and love with the Trinity, with the Virgin Mary, the angels and all the blessed - is called "heaven." Heaven is the ultimate end and fulfillment of the deepest human longings, the state of supreme, definitive happiness.

Without religion, there is no factual definition of a bad or evil thing. Whatever you view as "bad" is completely subjective and unique to you. If you were in the roman era for example, you would likely have no problem with tossing babies off of mountains if they were deformed, if you were a nazi you would view genocide as positive. And besides that, you are made to not completely understand the actions of the divine. They may seem arbitrary to you, but in reality, they aren't. In islam at least, there is no natural sin, so anyone killed young will see heaven if god wills it, and he will punish the ones who harm others, etc.

Thinking about it, it's so retarded how the arguments atheists make against God pale in comparison to actual world issues. They say nothing in life has meaning yet doesn't want their plus-sized black trans queen to kill xeirself. Rules for thee but not for me I guess. Hypocrites overall; no one wants to have an objective moral compass anymore.

It sucks that we live in an immoral postmodernist world where sincerity is hated and irony is loved on the internet, but when normalGODS wake up to the stupidity suddenly they're the evil ones.

What? But God *is* Good, isn't he? As in, he is identical with Goodness. Why do you need to "add" more good when there was already an infinite amount of goodness at the start?
The point is that the universe is ultimately good and all evil serves or leads to the good. I phrased it in an “adding” type way to try and illustrate my point better, but you are right it’s not “adding” good.
Aquinas believed in predestination too though and Calvin was actually a Thomist albeit
I’m relatively well versed in Aquinas and I think in his second way, he outright rejects it (it might be a different text of his) Remember, Aquinas was a Catholic and the idea of predestination his heretical in Catholicism. So either way he for sure didn’t believe predestination.

but actually though
no avoiding the question though

Cuz faggots use their free will to sin and do prideful faggot shit. Stop blaming God for your actions beta fggots.

Thats what repentance is. Not turning from sin or becoming perfect. but feeling bad for being a sinful faggot. Accept it. Talk to Jesus Christ. Accept the free gift of salvation. And stop pretending you're not a mud hut loving faggot.
