Fair enough, I also dislike Cobert for that reason. My issue with your grouping was that it implied Cobert was on the same level as the other two even though he's a high quality trace that actually gets the "soyjak" artstyle right unlike the others you posted.

New variants are usually low effort and ugly, a jak has to be perfect in every way to be usable, because the site is built on using them to make fun of people and self insert as them (example: nojak and ). Also it's just kinda nostalgic to use the classics. I don't think the sharty will ever die, but the basis of the site changes very frequently, and most of the time it will upset the people who like the culture for x reason. Like it can go from a united raid party, to /pol/ 2, to a friendly blog/conversation group, to chaos where everyone is trying to bait each other... Variants don't matter in this cycle at all
