Whether it’s Minecraft or Civ 5, I WILL find a way to use my controller instead of the keyboard + mouse. Reason being you have to sit in one position at the desk or you risk injuring yourself which is asinine. Compare that to the couch where you can position yourself anyway that’s comfortable.

I've used a mouse and keyboard for 15 years while working a manual labor job every step of the way and I have never had a mouse or keyboard related injury.

For me it’s the mouse hand that gets sore after prolonged use. But I did order one of those vertical mice that are supposedly bvilt for ergonomics.

I'm used to playing on low sensitivity so I can't play games for long periods because my wrist starts hurting. But also most of my games don't have controller support so I'm stuck with mouse and keyboard it_hurts

I only like playing games on controller where precise inputs don't matter, otherwise it sucks ass.

microsoft flight simulator was so awful that i used my drifting xbox controller instead

A mod called Controllable for Forge. It even works on the shartay server.

I've used trackballs for years now. Much better than using mice, at least comfort/RSI-wise. With practice, you can use them for gaming.
