The best way, in my opinion, is to have a deranged schizophrenic man make a handful of improved killdozers and we can gather more schizophrenics to man the machines and drive them straight into any government building, mainly the white house, various capitol buildings, and military bases. I'd guess the simplest method would be to have the high command of the military aligned with you (historically it seems to work better if you're one of them) and then have them give orders to the army to occupy all major government buildings. It worked for the Egyptians back in the '50s. Some Jap officers tried something similar back in the 1930s, but they failed.

if you don't have army support, you can instead use a paramilitary group loyal to you, but this is less likely to succeed and requires you to actually form or take over said paramilitary, and if you have the popular support to do that you might as well just get elected, stage a crisis, and self-coup

Why don’t we just attack internet cables and connections then with the disorganization of the central government do it. if it’s a big government there will be others attacking too so there will be a power vacuum so no need for military just arm the working class like the October revolution

The best you can do as an individual is to join the military imo. Even if the leadership is gated off, the more revolutionaries are in the army the harder the government can control it. Elites don't rule alone.
