For active soyteens, I think we can guestimate the number. /soy/ has had about ~10000 ppd for the last month or so. I'd guess the average ppd for a 'teen is 20-50. That would mean the 'arty has 200-500 active 'teens. /soy/ (not including altboards because they only just became active in the past few months and they are hard to estimate for a few reasons) at several times has hit 20000 ppd and if I were to use the same assumption for average ppd, that would be between 400-1000 'teens. This is only active 'teens and it's a fair assumption to say that 'teens on average remain active for about 4-6 months which is in line with when trends die. Again, this is largely speculation, but I'd guess we are at about 5000 to 10000 'teens as a whole.

SPVA subs and views are a bad metric because I think most of them are not 'arty users.

While 10k 'teens may seem a bit small to some, that is still probably the same if not better than 4chan 3-4 years into its existence. Not only that, but the 'arty is already more infamous than 4chan was 3-4 years in. The site is at a comfortable size, and if it were to grow 2 or 3 times the size within the next year, 'arty culture could probably handle it without being eradicated. Another trend I notice is that 'teens will often return to soy after they have recovered from jakking fatigue. The soyspehere is a meme cultural center where our jokes and content trickle down to the masses, in a similar way to 4chan and the altchans of the past. As 'teens see slopjaks in 2025 on twitter, they will once again want to rejoin the 'teens. While a lot of 'teens are talking out of their asses, I think a good percent of the 'teens who say they were from the kvz, soot, and even qway era are telling the trvth and are just revurning.

The only real way to know is for someone like an admin to release information we'd probably prefer him not to, so it will remain a mystery. Perhaps we could try running an 'arty wide census 'teen side. Let people vote in a straw poll each day for a week and average out the number of voters at the end.

funny you say that considering im training sniper in tf2 right now, i was shit a while ago but i find myself hitting a lot more shots and actually hitting insane flicks.
i also get high on the scoreboard because i use jarate, which i love the shit out of because it makes me a useful player and gives me a lot of points.
if im doing shit as sniper i have a jar of piss to thank for my teammates not hating my guts for missing every shot and only getting like 4 kills

i've always ran the backpack thing which heals you for like 4 health each tick and the machete that does bleed damage but less damage overall.

i personally usually main pyro, scout, medic and soldier. which basically means, i don't have a main, my class option is always strategic.
as pyro i opt to use the degreaser and the shotgun, i only pick pyro to piss off spies, if they're annoying me, i will dedicate my entire existence to making spy's life a pain and misery.
used to be a spy main but i dont play him anymore and i hate spy mains they are cocky bastards, don't like them. TSD.
as for medic, he's fine to play sometimes but i just opt for pyro instead.

the backpack thing is the worst dont equip it
the health gain is extremely neglible and the no twitching thing just doesn't apply most of the time.
if you're gonna use a back item use the darwins danger shield to tell pyros to piss off or the razorback to tell spies to piss off.
be a good support class and not a fucking loser, if you run with backpack atleast go with sydney sleeper or something idk
personally i view sniper as exactly that, a support class, if im gonna pick him i need to help out my team in some form, so i'll use jarate to make sure im not completely useless.

anyways, i've always found the backpack the best side-item for sniper imo, but i may try the jarate.

I main scout but I also play a lot of engineer, mostly because on 2 fort no one else on my team is and some retarded scout keeps taking the intel, so I have to put my sentry down there and play scout with a lower move speed. Pic related is my hours on each class, I reset it at some point though, have 800 hours on the game and this isn't even close to that.
