How harsh is the internet censorship in your country?

I live in Turkey and:
  • You can't use Pastebin
  • You can't access any site that has porn at all, including the 'cuck
  • Also some random sites are banned for no reason (thankfully we have the 'sharty)
  • Can't insult the founder of Turkey

Before 2022 there was no serious censorship, main opposition websites and YT channels existed freely and nobody cared. There was an attempt to ban Telegram, but it was a complete clownery, bans were easily bypassed, and it all looked like an attempt by the regime to discredit itself.

After 2022, the government suddenly began to seriously block not only sites, but also VPNs themselves, and 90% of VPNs stopped working. Moreover, the rest of the world started blocking us too. For some reason, the sites with recipes are the ones that block access for russians the most.
Yall still got sematary tho so gem

Only internet censorship I've had is at free Wi-Fi, but I can just use tor and webtunnel to bypass those types of systems (some piece of shit firewalls only allow specific protocols, ports, etc)

The first amendment allows it sister!
Thankfully Texas passed a law that made one of the largest degenerate dens of pornography on the net close its doors to the citizenry, I think due to something with age verification now being required. Maybe they could do that for all of them with some more laws. Hell, if that Project 2025 stuff all of the trannies online are freaking out about is wholly legit (with "conservatives" their promises to conserve usually aren't, so I'm not very confident in all of what is promised) perhaps we could see a grand cleansing unleash itself upon all of what plagues us. I wish the eighteenth amendment was never repealed, it could have cemented the positive influence of proper moralism into modern American culture.

Pornhub sucks ass anyway and they took that down voluntarily

The situation is even funnier, because instead of banning Telegram, the government banned millions of wrong IPs, which caused some cash registers, other devices, and many important sites to stop working.

Telegram was not affected though because Durov started paying VPN and Proxy companies and a lot of free proxy bots have popped up. There were also things like promo codes that gave a year of free VPN in different VPN services.

I don’t live in Cuba but I’ve met a couple of Cubans living in Cuba on the soysphere, and I’ve experienced the internet firsthand when I’ve gone to Cuba to meet my grandparents, basically they don’t allow ‘p, 4cuck is banned, etc…. You have to pay for calls overseas, everyone uses WhatsApp over there, oddly enough the sharty is permitted, internet is terrible, you can now use xitter, discord, etc….. 5-6 years ago Cubans couldn’t access most of these things and it was seen as an even rarer thing to have a phone, so it’s a more recent thing Cubans have access to now.

is this why there's so many people out there online who say turks love Ataturk when in reality it's because they're forced to??
Ha, no. Turks genuinely love him a lot. There are some Islamist Turks who are critical of some of his ideas but even then most of them still like him. I'd say there's at best a minority of 15% in Turkey who don't like Atatürk. The other 85 percent I'd divide by half and say half of them like him in a way that's not fanatic, while the other half is filled with the type of person who would beat the crap out of you if you talk shit about Atatürk.

I live in Canada so although there is still some privacy violations, it's not as bad as the United States. Also Canada is more likely to crack down on you for perpetuating heckin' bigotry!11 and violence rather than torrenting a game or saying hekkin slurs on a chatroom. (source: trust me bro)

Geg, Turkey banned Roblox a week ago. Reason cited was that the game/site is filled with homosexual/pedo propaganda. Haven't played the game but they're probably right so good riddance.
It certainly is, yeah. If you're interested, there's a fellow named Ruben Sim who has been documenting the extreme pedophile situation on Roblox for the past few years on his YouTube channel. Here's one video of his from some months ago:

none really but EU regulations will probably cuck us harder in the future

No pornhub but that’s a good thing other than that politicians just censor opposition but that’s like everywhere

Ehem, I tried going to chuds.life to lurk yesterday (it got resurrected), and then realized the site wouldn't open. I assumed the site was temporarily down, except when I later tried again with a vpn, the site worked fine. So I just checked something and...
