It's best to be obsessed over something that'll get you money. As for the awkward problem, try to step outside of your comfort zone. It doesn't have to be a big leap. It just has to be a step towards conquering your awkwardness.
Too late for that; I'm obsessed over scleractinian taxonomy and don't see how that will ever make me money. I'm going into computer engineering as my major; I hope to in the future start a dive camera or reef tank equipment company
