TSMT. Have they announced exactly what nations are getting content in this update? Of course there will be Afghanistan but if that is the only nation in the update they really have lost the plot. Plus they're making new content for a country that didn't historically have any impact in World War II and in game has probably 1 civ max. They're doing this instead of updating something like that Japan focus tree that is really bare-bones as of now compared to all the other nations that have had updated trees in previous DLC.

The game is so shit ahistorically. There's no challenge because you get full cores and avoid any challenges by going through the ahistorical path. Even a game like EU4 that's about being ahistorical is more challenging

My gripe was more that Afghanistan was too separated from anything else going on in the game that I thought it was weird to add content for it. Though ahistorical paths can be a mixed bag of difficulty sometimes such as with the Qing China path or from delaying your industrial buildup in a Russian civil war but of course countries like Austria can massively increase their core territory and owned land just from asking for it.

I wonder how the Arab vs Irsael conflict is represented in game. Maybe there's two alternative paths with their own focuses but I doubt Paradox would even do something like that. It'll probably just be branching focuses

egypt being independent and a UK puppet or more so colony/dominion would be super fun because it would probably be the only important dominion

They buffed the AI in that update but I was still able to rape them by microing all of my infantry divisions

best i did was survive until late 1938 under the emperor stays path so i didnt get any international help, feel like thats almost impossible to do now

I played Germany yesterday without using any battleplans (except for empty Field Marshal orders for planning bonus) and micromanaged and manually controlled every single division. Every single infantry division and the only two armored divisions I had. I reached Moscow in four months
