i became less chuddy over the years. 2016 was the chuddiest year for me. to date.

around 2020 i was pretty much far-left. but over the next coming years i became center-left. where i stand at now.

If you're really interested, I used to be a Christian, and finished reading the standard catholic Bible back to front in about 6 months and I regularly went to church and whatnot. To pinpoint where I 'left' Christianity is difficult to say because it's a gradual process you're really unaware of, but one day I realised that there was to many ways Christianity appeared fallible and disagreeable to me, so I stopped calling myself such.

I started researching the philosophy and worldview of Paganism and immediately found myself engaged and in agreement from a very early point. In many ways I am a Pagan just because I feel as though it is the religious system most reverent of nature. Ultimately, God is Nature – this is the fundamental Pagan teaching, that’s why there’s Gods of every aspect of Nature in every ancient Pagan tradition. It's a faith I feel to be the most primordial and truthful on an instinctual level that I realised I never felt with Christianity or what have you. I'll just leave it there.

What flavor of Pagan are you?

To not datamine myself too much, I'm of Celtic ancestry, so I would classify myself as a Celtic Pagan. In my view, you cannot 'convert' to Paganism, it is not a universalist, nevermind unified and orthodox faith like that. You should only embrace the traditions and beliefs of your most ancient ancestors and honour them as one is fit to do so.

The nation-states will of course remain, perhaps there will be even more of them(EU actively supports separatists in its member states, for example). It's just that their importance will no longer be the same. Your role in a corporation, guild, or any other organization, such as church or fraternity, will be more important than your citizenship.
