The birds I dislike the most are house sparrows, which are those little brown ones you most often see in the parking lots of grocery stores, among a plentiful set of other areas that they've invaded (not sure I've ever heard of the "killdeer" like the one in this image's filename, but I'm guessing those birds conduct themselves similarly).
House sparrows feed off of any trash or scavenged sustenance that they can scrape off of the road, they find their homes in pre-built human structures or by invading nests and birdhouses of other native birds, where they then kill the families and their babies in the process in order to seize the housing, they crap everywhere, and if you take away the bird elements from that list of qualities, you'll find that my description is also apt for Brown immigrants, if that says anything about how terrible for their surroundings these invasive birds can be.
