I had to wake up REALLY early, like at 5-something, but my dad's alarm didn't go off, so he woke me up late. Luckily, we got there before they left. My dad wasn't going with me on this dive excursion, so I was a little nervous. When we got to the dive shop, we boarded a van which took us to the harbor. There were two other people in my dive group--a 36 year-old Hungarian woman, and a 26 year-old Italian woman. We boarded the boat, which was pretty large and had a bathroom. During the 10-minute ride to the dive site, we put our wetsuits on and attached our BCDs and regulators to our air tanks. I also got my camera equipment ready; this time, I didn't forget my fiber-optic cable. Our first dive was at the Sea Tiger wreck, which I had gone on before. Since this dive was pretty deep, I looked to see if there were any Leptoseris wrinkle corals. I couldn't find any, but I saw some Tubastrea sun corals. On our way up, took two safety stops. After we got up, we drank some tea while the boat drove to our next dive site, which was Kewalo pipe. On this dive, I took some good wide-angle reef shots, and also got a few macro shots of Pavona duerdeni shoulderblade corals and even found a Lobactis scutaria mushroom coral. After the dive, we disassembled our gear and took off our wetsuits. We boarded our van and drove back to the dive shop. I had to wait a little bit for my dad to pick me up, but when he did, he brought a change of clothes for me. Overall, the dives were awesome, and I took some good photos.
