Everyone tells me what they think heresy is.

Eucumenism allows me to discern what is and isn't heresy through debate and talk.

Ecumenism is when you seek to "le unite" all Christians despite them having very clear theological differences. It's all in the name of the one world religion. Orthodoxy is hostile to it, the reunion of Catholics and Orthodox will never get an approval from Russia (and that's where most Orthodox look up to) even if the puppet in Constantinople goes through with it. It will simply go down in our history books as "Constantinople did the same thing Rome did in 1054". There is no such thing as uniting with heretics.

A long and slow process where the whole Church reunites, that everyone who proclaims the same God (lest aside the filioque for now) one day will be able to commune together.

Also I'm not delusionnal I know for a fact that there will always be false teachers, but I also think that there are real catholic christians, real protestant christians and real orthodox christians who all are devoted to God, no matter how small of a group they are, they should be able to commune together

Salvation is possible for the heterodox according to our saints. But it is not the usual way and is an exception. Not the rule.
