Galatians 2 simply says we're not saved by works alone, which is true. We're also not simply saved by faith since we have to do good to get into heaven.

Galatians 3 and 4 are saying that works that disobey scripture are bad, which luckily none of our tradition does.

Galatians 3 is also saying that pre-covenant law was needed before Christ, the proverbial 'schoolmaster' and now with Christ we don't need it. However this isn't saying tradition from Christ isn't needed.
