Klonoa was fresh on my mind so I decided to beat the second game for the sake of filling an afternoon. The platforming itself was engaging, tight and manageable, and visually it was an absolute beaut. Definitely worth the shot if you haven't played it and can bear the "cutesyness" of it all.
How is that game? I know it is apparently much better than it was back in the day.
Also, is it always-online? I kind of can't play if it needs a connection while playing single-player.

What I can say is, I bought the game blindly while it was on sale because I wanted to play something space related recently. Now I've spent 60 hours on it in 3 weeks, it literally became the only game I play now. It's most similar to minecraft in a way that there are tons of stuff for you to do, but no definitive goal. So yeah the game's really good now. Sean added a whole lot of stuff over the years. <plebbit space
And yeah. You can turn the multiplayer aspects off and play offline, (but you will still see player made bases and settlements)
