What's festivism?
Festivism is an ideology that believes by celebrating holidays, we could escape modern turmoil and form connections.
Who are "the big 3"?
Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween.
What's a holiday crisis?
Due to modern turmoil and isolation since 2020, it's harder to celebrate a holiday now. Halloween for example feels much more old and not as spooky or exciting as it was. Or Thanksgiving literally almost being forgotten. Or Black Friday literally being dead now. We might enter a dodo phase if this trend continues.
How to stop this?
Encourage holidays more through ironic memes (holidayposting). Remember to not stay fixated on Christmas only. Form events in your local community or on your websites.
What about smaller holidays?
We also seek to popularize them including more proper ones to anything that appears on websites such as National Day Calendar. We shall apply proper traditions to National Hot Dog Day or whatever in order to make them exciting. We also seek to create our own holidays.
