Gen 1
I like them all equally, no strong feelings about any specific design to the point that if I said one was worse than the others I would feel like I made a bad choice
Gen 2
I also like these all a lot. Totodile-Feraligatr is my favorite because crocodiles are cool
Meganium is my least favorite, I like it, but the design is a little too simple, and also meganium is one of the weakest starters ever
Gen 3
Sceptile very closely followed by swampert
That leaves blaziken, who while cool isn't really to my tastes

Torterra is the best starter ever totally not because it was the first one I got and from the first video game I played
Infernape is fine, I don't dislike it but I don't like it either. Penguins are cooler
Gen 5
First gen with some starters I think are actually ugly
Serperior is my favorite because he is a cool snake.
The pig is goofy looking and boring, but samaurott is worse because the first 2 of its evolutions were good upright otters with ninja shells, and then samaurott became some gross thing with flippers instead of arms that looked nothing like an otter.
Gen 6
Good starters, I like them
Greninja is obviously the coolest one, thats no contest.
Chesnaut is fine
Braixen was a very good design that caught on very quickly. Everyone loves braixen. Even the company itself markets braixen heavily over... its evolution... such as in the anime and tekken game. Then it evolved into it's post menopause form, delphox, who lost all of the design and character personality that made braixen a hit. Even the anime makes fun of the difference between braixen and delphox.
Gen 7
ALL ruined potential
Primarina is the least offending design because at least it is consistant with it's middle evo
Decidueye took his cool first two evolutions that had a fancy suit motif and completely abandoned them for some horribly failed attempt at becoming the next greninja. If he stuck with the original motif of dartrix and expanded on it he would be a chef's kiss starter design.
Whoever decided to replace whatever cool final evolution litten and torrocat were obviously building up to with that pathetic garfield looking shithead furlslop incineroar should eat a bullet.
Gen 8
Literal feces poopoo garbage slop
I don't care for anthro starters, but cindrace is probably the least stupid of the three. Rillaboom would be in his place if he didn't have a fucking drumset that he just bangs on in battle instead of physically attacking pokemon. A starter that can only attack by summoning a wooden musical instrument is goofy and dumb.
Worst for last. That fucking lizard is a potbellied lankcel fingerblasting flaming FAGGOT! He can go to niggerhell with whichever GF employee molested him into becoming inteleon

Slight return to form from gen 8. Minus one insufferable nigger pokemon.
Skeledirge is a quadrepedal pokemon, something I thought GF would never make again. He's also a crocodile which is cool. I picked him
The cat is decent but not my taste.
Now the duck, I don't have to do hyperbole like I did with inteleon when I call him a faggot. This pokemon is literally exclusively desinged to be a flamboyant drag queen tranny faggot pokemon. Are faggot water starters the new GF trend to expect?
