Did that province have a fort or something because ai won't give away any provinces that is a fort or surrounded by a fort unless you occupied it

The AI was 100% willing to give this province away however in the peace deal when I select it, since Poland was the controller (though still an ally in MY war and not a separate one) of that specific province, it automatically decides to give it to Poland instead of me despite my claims and the lack thereof from Poland.

What are you supposed to do as the Teutons btw? Sail only about 10 regiments to the Mamluks (if you're early enough and the Ottomans haven't already raped them for their land around Jerusalem with 80 regiments) because of your shit naval limit to attempt to get the Crusader path or go as Prussia and somehow conquer Germany by taking on the entire HRE with its 100 shitty statelets and Austria who somehow have an insane army despite owning less land than you.

You're too far away to do the Jerusalem strat but it's possible or something. It's better to make a crusader horde through your missions and conquer everything with less admin power needed

You could dismantle the HRE if you ally every elector and occupy Vienna. You get 100 prestige and no HRE so it's free land for you to conquer
