In modern times, pets are literally selectively bred for optimal "cuteness". So much so, that actual human babies-- who drove the evolutionary need for the cuteness-response-- no longer seem cute by desensitization. Now that babies are no longer cute, they do not feel the drive to protect them. The Jews bred creatures with supernormal cuteness so that we would be desensitized to human babies with normal cuteness, just like how they created pornography with supernormal sexiness so that we would be desensitized to other people with normal sexiness. Desensitization is one of the key weapons in the Jewish arsenal, so beware.

Also a problem is that a lot of them are native and or pretty exotic so you can’t really have much of a market, and yes a lot of small mammals can kill you (badgers, ant eaters)
