Well, it wasn't necessarily a lie either way. The flags do remind me of my heritage (different from my country, which I don't feel proud of). Still, I just wasn't ready to also admit (until I mentioned it in a different thread) that I also keep them up in my room as an extra measure to make sure my family thinks I like our country.
