That's how God made them. We can look to Genesis for this:
>The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him.
This is in reference to Adam, where it's talking about him naming the animals God made for us, and then it leads into the creation of Eve from Adam's rib, I'm sure we know the tale from there. But, do you notice something particular, at the end of this verse? There's a word, there. "Helper", as it is also written in the original Hebrew. Woman was provided to man to help him, to provide assistance, to give the extra support, the extra care. If man is 75%, his wife is to be his 25%, to always make him whole and well. Saddening is it, then, that such an intention, commanded by God, is to be struck down by the sinful societies of today, always flipping things on their head, yet, just as Elijah and the 7,000 believers were a remnant to true belief when falsehoods of Baal worship enslaved their majority, there are still women out there who keep the faith, too. There will always be a remnant of faithful women. It'll be hard to find them, no doubt, but if God wills it, you will find one. We have been born into these troubled times by His will, for if we were not meant to struggle through what were once such proper, pleasant parts of life in the centuries before us, God would not have given us this life at all. It is all in His doing, and all of it is right, and we are to be pleased with what life He gives us, for we know in our hearts that this mortality is a brick to His wall, a drop to His ocean, a blade to His grassland, and He is generous enough to give us, forgiving of all our troubles and all our sin, a place in His promised gift in the end, so we must persevere.
