Do you feel anything when reading a fiction book?

No, and back when I was in high school I just read nonfiction books even when fiction ones were required by the teacher. I just don't care about things that aren't real, unless it's about alternate history or sum shiet.
The Cox 300 is a book or paper or something all about eminent people in western civilization who had greater achievements than their birth status would demand. There was this one guy who became quickly infatuated with fiction and his dad was worried about him losing his focus on real things- but he gave it all up really quickly and brushed it off with some comment that was to the effect that he got the gist of fiction, that there wasn't anything to really capture his interest there. This makes me a little insecure because I trannyheart fiction and I really want to accomplish great things but I am not very entranced with reality.
