the tests are designed in a way to make the total average score 100, but different groups of people have different averages relative to the "main" average
take a village in africa for example, if the IQ test was made there all of the retarded niglets would have an average IQ of 100. but if that test was used anywhere else there would be some issues

For me it got easier when I pictured it moving from one position (drawing) to the other. You only have to focus on one part EX: if I move it this way, this part will be facing towards me, however this answer has it facing away so it has to be wrong.

IQ is only really valuable for people at the extreme ends of the bell curve by the way, things get foggy near the center. Real IQ tests are like hundreds of questions long and I personally think it's a good thing that most normal people will never know their true IQ.
I took a test from a psychiatrist and scored dead average, but online tests put me in the 120-130 range.
