Yes he would have very easily. People take 12-24 hours to freeze in space and Kars would have lost body heat even slower considering he wasn't dead.

In the USA, arcades are still plentiful but the real arcades with the tokens and tickets are becoming rare. Namco and Chuck-E-Cheese switched to cards, and now Namco Arcades don't even exist anymore. Dave And Busters and Round 1 have been card for a long time, the small arcade by my house has switched to a card system as well. There's only two left that I go to that still uses tokens and tickets, but they're small or quite unaccessible.

My local arcade still has games at 25¢ to $1.50 per play, not that expensive but the big guys like Dave and Busters are literally ripping you off.

My local shartmart had custom Pac-Man arcade machines recently, so there's still a niche somewhere.
