GEG Did you know the BBC is available in West African English Pidgin?

"Dem also vow to end di way wey Israel dey occupy southern Lebanon and di Palestinian territories.
For 2009, dem bin bring out one new manifesto wey no make any made no reference say dem wan create an Islamic state. However, dem maintain dia stance against Israel."
this sounds more like a shitpost website to troll people in africa. not a real and serious uk funded BBC written by BBC. GEG!

I've seen Nigerians talk in YouTube comment sections and it's more abhorrent than this tbh. This is pretty neutral it doesn't have language specific words. On YouTube half of the shit that's written here would be replaced by Yoruba or other language words to make it completely incomprehensible

@Swede They write country as kontri but write tithe (which they can't even say because none of them can say th) as tithe.
as if they know what tithing is GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEG
I'm just convinced that badly spelled words are the words that they actually use in everyday life, anything that is spelled right is never or so rarely used so that it just kept it's original english grammar

'Gaza na just graveyards wey scatter everywhere'

this sounds really funny without context.
call the company behind this. Johnson and Johnson because it made by BBC (not the uk one, the other one if you get it) and it is so funny. GEG moment.

I think this means Gaza is now just graveyards that are scattered everywhere which sounds like an ESL nigger of a sentence

in Real English. it would be some among the lines of. The Gaza Strip is a scatting graveyard from war these days. and no i am ESL at all.
I'm not talking about you, I meant what would be the direct translation of the pidgin into English, which then sounds like an ESL sentence
