For me it's Roman history, mostly from Caesar to Commodus. I can't really say why, but maybe I can't really find anything new about this period and I'm starting to hate idealized image of it: white columns, legions, senators, aqueducts. Same case with Iskandar of Makiduniya or Cengiz Han.
Also WW2, there is too many documents about clittler in the TV and internet.
I am interested in almost any other topic of the history or prehistory.

I'm not an expert on history by any means, but I've always found WW1 to be unusually boring. I like the American Civil War because of the very early industrial technology (ironclads, steam engines, factories) and WW2, just not WW1. The scale of destruction wasn't as huge, submarine & aircraft tactics didn't have a lot of depth, and besides the trench warfare there's not much that instantly makes me think of WW1 in particular.

Well, watching the Lusitania sink in less than 20 minutes is fun at least.

I liked ww1, but not really the western front because there was barely any movement.

yeah, I got really bored with Russian history after stalin, it's just been a big nothingburger for like 50 years before the union fell (Le cold war)

Idk I was watching some historical movies (in Polish language doe) about post-Stalin USSR and I like it more because this country and the communist Poland didn't look as grim as repressive in these times.
