The real reason why CSS is shlog tradition is because soygoy wanted to make a counter strike server but he hated the changes valve made to CSGO with CS2 so he put it up to a poll on whether to do CSS or CS1.6 and the vote for CSS won in the end. Newfags don't get the lore I understand but its nothing to do with how good people's PCs are.
