Also, I know some guys in the logging business and back in 2023 most northern Minnesota owner-operators were mothballed for the season because mills couldn't pay enough for logs, meanwhile trucks were steadily hauling loads from Canada for essentially nothing because of some bullshit NAFTA deal that made Canadian taxpayers pay for American lumber to undercut and bankrupt American loggers.
